Leon Oscar Taylor was born in Grenada holds the degrees of Bacholer and Masters of Civil engineering the later from McGill University. He is the author of the Book THE CREATION OF LASOURCE 40 YEARS OF STRUGGLE available on Amazon. Part of his strategies for survival invloves 20 years of semi exile as an academic in the Department of Civil Engineering at UWI Trinidad publishing numerous technical papers including the seminal assessment of Seismic Risk in the Eastern Caribbean and becoming the leading Geotechinical Engeering expert in the Caribbean before he was able to create and build LaSource Resort on the Island of Grenada.
